The motocross world descended on the lights and glam of Las Vegas last weekend for the US Open, and DC riders Davi Millsaps and Adam Cianciarulo did not disappoint. Both took 2nd place overall through two nights of indoor racing at the MGM Grand in their respective class, Davi in the 450 and Adam in the 85.
In the 85 cc class, Adam was racing amazing, even taking down the huge double over the finish line (only a couple of the little dudes were stepping up to that). On Saturday’s Main Event Adam slipped into 2nd right away, battling hard for the lead. It’s hard to believe since the boys were on 85’s, but it really was to some of the best racing of the whole event. Eventually Adam took second, taking second overall for the Open.
Davi looked solid both nights, and on night two, with only two laps to go, Davi battled to the front and took over 3rd place, giving him 2nd overall for the weekend.
