The Dew Tour FMX leader board has been anything but "regular" this year, with tons of names shuffling around the top spots. With injuries, new faces, and new outlooks all prevalent, it was anyone's game. Adam Jones was the man to emerge on top and with the '08 Dew Cup, winning two events this year including last weekend's final stop in Orlando.
With the wind howling and his DC teammate Robbie Madison hot on his heals, Adam stuck to his signatures—the stripper flip, turntable flip, kiss of death flip—to post a score of 93.67 and take the win.
"I won a very big, very prestigious event today, and also won the championship at the same time," said Adam. "I didn't sleep at all last night, just tossing and turning worrying about this. I'm glad it's over. I'm going to sleep like a baby tonight."
Adam continued, "I've kind of changed my whole outlook on life. I used to be pretty negative and pretty down on everything, and now when there's bad conditions or when something's not exactly the way I want it I just try and make the best of it. I think that's helped me a lot."
Congratulations to Adam on the AST Dew Cup win, and to Robbie on the solid 2nd place finish!
