Check out the new TransWorld Motocross for 8 pages on DC's Nate Adams, including a bunch of great FMX photos of him practicing at home in So.Cal and a solid interview with "The Destroyer."
Nate's one of the few riders to take FMX from its dirty, tattooed, roughneck image (not that there's anything wrong with that) to what we have today: a group of disciplined riders who have to push themselves physically and mentally constantly if they want to be at the top of the game. The interview covers a bit of that transition, and how a guy like Nate, with his fairly clean-cut off-bike style and robot-like on-bike style, has reached the level of success that he's achieved. It also covers what's next for Nate, especially with younger and less-established riders hucking themselves in hopes of glory all around him.
The interview's in the October 2008 issue of TransWorld Motocross, out now.
