West Coast Lites Main- Trey Canard got the holeshot. But before the end of the first lap, Jake Weimer was in the lead. At the end of one the second lap the top five broke down like this - Jake Weimer, Blake Wharton, Max Anstie, Cole Seely and Phil Nicoletti. Then Max Anstie starts pressuring Blake Wharton for second - Anstie final started jumping the big double right after the finish. On lap six, Anstie makes a pass on Wharton for second in a tight left hand corner and then a second later Wharton spins out and falls. At the checkered, it was Jake Weimer winning, Cole Seely had his best ride of the season and finished second, Wil Hahn was third, Max Anstie held second until the last lap, but ended up with fourth for the night.
The 450 Supercross Class- Nick Wey was the holeshot winner and Dungey fell in the first corner. At the end of one lap, Nick Wey was still leading and Ryan Dungey had fallen a second time. It was still Wey leading, Davi Millsaps right behind him in second, and his team-mate Andrew Short was in third. Ivan Tedesco was in fourth, and Josh Hill was fifth. Towards the end of lap three - Davi Millsaps moved past Wey and into the lead. At the halfway point Millsaps was still in the lead, Andrew Short second, Ivan Tedesco is third, Kevin Windham moved to fourth, and Hill in fifth, and Ryan Dungey just out side the top ten. On lap 15, Millsaps had streched his lead, Short was in second, holding off Tedesco. Josh Hill began closing the gap on both of them. On lap 18, Short cased a big jump which knock him out of the race. Hill fought hard to pass Tedesco and take over second.
After 20 laps, Davi Millsaps won the San Diego SX. Josh Hill finished second. Ryan Dungey finished sixth and still is the Series points leader. He only leads Hill by four points as the series heads to the next round in Anaheim next Saturday night!
